Tormach 15L Compatible, 3-Gang Turret Extension Kit with Chucks and Coolant Block

  • Made from Alloy Steel ("Chrome-Moly": AISI 4140).
  • Precision Reamed (H7) 12.0mm Center Holes.

  • Mounted using existing 4x M6 hole pattern.
  • Includes Set Screws and Flat head Grade 10.9 screws for mounting, spare pin for sliding fixture and pin for holding inner most holder.
  • Includes one Coolant Block with two outlets (for standard 1/4" copper tubing, not includedO"
  • Made in the USA

Intended to be used for drilling small holes and tapping. Does not come with ER16 collets.

How to set the tool Offsets and use in PathPilot:

  1. Change the Turret to the corresponding slot (i.e. "T04" if the block is mounted in the space for Tool 4)
  2. Change to a tool that is not part of the turret's tool (so any number above 8). For example: "T14" (using a value that is 10 or 20 above the slot makes for an easy way to remember)
  3. Set the offsets the same way you would for any other tool.
  4. Remember that when you need to switch to a given tool from a program to first switch to that tool slot and then to the specific tool:
  • "N990 (Prep For op)"
  • "N1000 T04"
  • "N1010 T14"
  • "N1020 (Perform op with offset tool)"

Depending on the use, it is also possible to use a dual tool/offset approach (use with caution and test before use): T0x0y where x defines the tool number and y defines the offset (so T0409 would set tool 4 on the turret and apply offsets for tool 9)
